of tourists have paid visit to Lupu Bridge, Shanghai,
since it was opened for sightseeing on April 28th, 2006.
Ever since then, there have also been Chinese and foreign
visitors who require the evening visit be opened time
and again at the Visitors Management Department. This
way, during this national holiday, we intend to open
the bridge in the evening to meet the public’s aspiration.
There would be night sky and bright full moon by looking
up, as well as colorful barges by looking down to Huangpu
River. A different feeling can be created amidst the
splendor of lights. As one of the landmarks and famous
destinations in Shanghai, the observation deck on the
vault of Lupu Bridge has become one of the optimum places
for overlooking the site of the World Expo 2010 and
enjoying the beautiful sceneries across Shanghai. Furthermore,
the visitors in the evening to the bridge will also
be favorably associated to the fireworks show in central
downtown, barge cruising along Huangpu River as well
as the full moon of the Mid-Autumn Festival on October
6th with the theme of “Merry Match”. |

The opening hour in daytime remains unchanged during
the Golden Week: |

All visitors must leave the vault by 21:30. |

The quota is limited to 400 visitors for the evening
show. Reservation is preferred in order to avoid inaccessibility
to the bridge due to overflow of visitors. |

The ticket price is RMB 80 yuan for evening show, no
exception for the olds and kids. |

Please take public transport as much as possible, as
the number of parking lots is limited at the Puxi Square,
Lupu Bridge (see online notice for specific bus lines). |

The sightseeing would be suspended in case of rain,
traffic control or other special situations in the evening. |

Daytime ticket and gift coupon do not apply to the evening
show. |
